Steve and I decided to work out in a different enviornment this weekend. We got a bit tired of the gym so we decided to go check out the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. They are located across from the beach in HB. Check out info here: http://www.bolsachica.org/
So as we started out the brush isn't too high. I was enjoying the site by looking around when Steve threw his arm in front of me and told me stop. I looked down and a very large rattle snake was slithering across the trail right in front of us. Two more steps and I would have stepped right in the middle of his body! So we slowly backed away and let him go across the trail in front of us! It was a huge reminder we were surrounded by nature and needed to be a bit more alert! Or at least I did! Thanks Steve! ;-)
