District Champions Again!!

For the past few weeks Steve and Eric Dowell have been coaching the 7th Grade Girls Soccor team at Lexington Junior High. They won every game and became Seventh Grade Girls District Champions for yet another year! Steve starts coaching 7th and 8th grade boys next week!

We have been booking vendors like mad lately! We are so excited to report that we have almost all our vendors booked now with the exception of the DJ. We need to get on that one.

We're ENGAGED!!!!!!

Hello Everyone! We wanted to let you know we got engaged tonight in Solvang in front of Mattie's Tavern: the same place Steve took me on our third date, where we knew something special was forming.

When I got to the door he grabbed my arm and swung me around, already on his knee!

Apparently my response was, "you are doing this here? now?!" He then reminded me I hadn't answered his question!

Of course it was a "YES!!"

Modern Bride Contest

Hey Everyone! So I entered this contest for fun and didn't realize I was going to actually WIN! My picture and entry paragraph were printed in the Feb/March Issue of Modern Bride Magazine! Check out page 244! I also get to go to the premier of the movie 27 Dresses! They are going to have my hair and makeup done and give me a designer dress and shoes to wear down the red carpet! Very exciting and just wanted to share!
