We're ENGAGED!!!!!!

Hello Everyone! We wanted to let you know we got engaged tonight in Solvang in front of Mattie's Tavern: the same place Steve took me on our third date, where we knew something special was forming.

When I got to the door he grabbed my arm and swung me around, already on his knee!

Apparently my response was, "you are doing this here? now?!" He then reminded me I hadn't answered his question!

Of course it was a "YES!!"

Hey Everyone! So I entered this contest for fun and didn't realize I was going to actually WIN! My picture and entry paragraph were printed in the Feb/March Issue of Modern Bride Magazine! Check out page 244! I also get to go to the premier of the movie 27 Dresses! They are going to have my hair and makeup done and give me a designer dress and shoes to wear down the red carpet! Steve and I

Me and Steve met through a mutual friend one Thursday afternoon at a Starbucks in Belmont Shores. After much persistance from our friend David we finally agreed to go out on a date. We emailed and spoke on the phone a few times before we agreed to meet at Starbucks on Dec. 28th, 2007! With my cousins in town I had a good excuse not to stay long. But after 2 hours my cousins came to Starbucks wondering what was taking so long! Apparently we had a lot to talk about and still do 7 months later!
