Rehearsal Dinner!

Just some shots of getting our nails done, the Rehearsal Dinner and then some shots of the wedding. These pictures were taken by Shannon and Dominic. I'll post the professional picture's soon as well! We are now off to Napa and Sonoma! Love the Davis'! :-)

Shoe Dyeing.....

So I really wanted my shoes to be a light Tiffany Turquoise. I was really nervous about getting the right color though since it's a hard color to hit. I actually went on the rit dye website and they give you recipes on how to get certain colors. Wow, they are right on too! I ended up using a huge bucket just so I could dunk the entire shoe in at the same time so that there were any bloches of dye in one area. I learned that could happen when I dyed Kelly's shoes red first! Heehee! So I used Kelly Green and Royal Blue to acheive my Light Tiffany Turq! I think they came out pretty well!

A Day with Maddy

Discovering the bubbles....!

You can't see but the bubbles are safely tucked away in the trunk of her bike! Going places without your bubbles would be no fun, right!?

Finally found a safe place to blow the bubbles!!!

I got a chance to spend the morning with Madalyn on Sat.! We had such a fun time! I'm pretty sure her favorite part of the day was blowing these bubbles. Definitely and outside toy! We went to feed the ducks too at El Dorado Pack. But we found out that there is a very mean and territorial goose amung all the fun, nice ducks! So we decided to cut our trip short! We also got to watch a few Wiggles episodes! Maddy loves to dance to all their songs!

It's Offical...we have a Marriage License! CHECK!

So this morning Steve and went to the Norwalk County Clerks office to get our marriage license. We filled out the form online and then stood in line. Took all of about 5 minutes. Then they shuffled us off to another line where you actually pick up the marriage license. Steve is offically "party A" and I'm "party B"...sadly there is no more "bride and groom" listed on the form! We just missed it! Oh well! We saw some interesting characters there though! We will never forget the women who came in with her BIG white dress, fake bouquet, viel and white purse, on the arm of a MUCH older man wearing super casual everyday clothing. We couldn't stop staring! Wow! So now we are ready to go...well sorta! A few more bows to tie!

Kari's Bridal Shower

My sister, Kelly and also MOH, hosted my shower at Long Beach Museum of Art! I wasn't able to get married there so the next best thing is having my shower there! It was an amazing day! Kelly did such an amazing job on all the decorations!!! The weather was perfect too!

less than 3 weeks...

We have less than 3 weeks left until the wedding! Work has been just insane for me so I've had no time to post pix of the Bridal shower or our 4th weekend yet! Steve been trying to post some new features too but something else always takes priority! Hopefully soon!
