Thanksgiving started with my mom giving Kelly and Ryan some baby gifts. A tradition started back by my Great Grandmother. She would give a teddy bear to each new baby. My Grandma Jane kept the tradition going and now my mom has taken it over. So she found just the perfect teddy bear to give them for their new baby girl!
Next gift was a bunch of clothes that Kelly wore as a baby! Of course there is a whole other set for me too! My grandma Jane knitted all the sweaters for us before we were born. Actually she did one set and then when my mom found out it was twins at 7 months, my grandma had to do one more set!
Kelly remembered them!
I think mom was telling her that she use to wear these...ha!
This was the first dress ever bought for us!
Kelly wore the "tiny dancer" shirt when she was little. So she will pass it down to her daughter now!
This is the babies room. They have swatches on the wall to decide what colors to paint with. They are going with the cream and gray damask print on the right for the top half of the room. The bottom half with be a pale pink!
The babies bedding!
The room before it's done!
Kelly let me take a picture. She is 6 1/2 months already!
Now time to eat the thanksgiving meal.
Ryan cutting the bird! The food was soo good too! They did a great job!

Saturday Fun..
Saturday we met up with Robin, Jeff and Nicolas at Buca di Beppo for lunch. We've never been their for lunch. They are semi smaller portions for lunch which was great. Always such good food there! The server was very nice to bring Nicolas a ball of pizza dough to play with until the food arrived. What a great distraction!
I even got a Nicolas hug at the end!

UFC Fight Night
Despite all the fires and smoke, we still had some people over for the UFC fight with Couture versus Lesnar! The kids didn't quite make it all the way to the main event but they had so much fun!
Maddy and Tyler pretend texting each other! They are BFF's for sure!
Alison and Brandon watching over the kids!
Me and Maddy in her PJ's and hanging out with "woofy"!
Mike enjoying the wine!
Fires
Saturday we started seeing crazy smocking over our house. We knew it couldn't be the Sylmar fire because those were too far. We then learned about the Yorba Linda and Corona fire. It's spread really fast because of the strong winds we had all day! The winds were blowing right at our area so we were getting the smoke and ash even though it was at least 20 miles from us. It seems to have spread to Brea, Anaheim Hills and Diamond Bar today! We hope and pray they get the fires under control soon! Here are some pictures from our house on Saturday.

Trick or Treating
This Halloween we went to Robin, Jeff and Nicolas' house! Nicolas wanted to be a lion again. This year the costume fit him just a little better! We had a great time, especially because it didn't rain! This year Nicolas said, "trick or treat" and "thank you" at every house! He even went to the last 3 all by himself! What a difference a year makes! Starting at his own house just to practice a bit first!
