Beach Day

 After naps we went to Seal Beach! It was much cooler today but since the fires were still going strong we wanted Jocelyn to be breathing in less smoke. The beach was the best place to be!

 She was ready way before anyone else. With Casen taking 4 hr naps we had to keep her entertained before we all ready to go!

 At first we thought it might be too cold but the water was actually warm! Jocelyn loved it while Casen was still very cautious and wanted to be held still. Although he laughed hysterically everytime the waves came to our feet.

 Casen kept saying, "Mommy my hands dirty! I wash em', OK!?" Then he would start walking to the car. LOL! So we had to get a bucket of water to keep washing his hands every 5 seconds...literally!

 We played ball too! Had such a nice time....but then it was time to go....

Back home and clean after a much needed bath!!!

Today

 Today I got called at work at 8am. With no backup I had to go pick up Casen since he was having digestive issues. We had a great day painting, color and playing in the water! Super hot in May!

 Jocelyn just got over what we think was turning into strep. Hoping Casen doesn't get that. I can't believe how many people are sick in May. I blame the weather!

Casen's New Potty

 We started to introduce the potty to Casen. Since he's obsessed with trash trucks I found some stickers to put on it. He went crazy and put them on the entire potty! Whatever works!

We will do hard core potty training this summer but for nowjust getting him use to the concept!

Jocelyn-Bee Sting and Hula Lessons

 Jocelyn was stung by a bee a few weeks ago! School called us immediately because it started to swell right away. With her skin history they were really worried she was allergic! Thankfully it turns out she isn't! Whew! The baking soda they put on it helped the pain a lot. She was super brave and understands why a bee might sting. She was crawling on the grass with friends pretending to be a cat...then she put her hand on the bee....

 Jocelyn and I did Mommy and Me Hula Lesson! Casen and Daddy ran around the rec center during our class.

Jocelyn loves dancing and singing! Now she know several Hawaiian songs and dances after 5 classes!
